We visited a bit of history today on an island just 10 minutes drive from our hotel. There we saw buildings similar to those you would see in Georgia. It was beautiful. There is also a school on the island and many statues, parks, and souvenir shops. Spending 2 hours there was plenty, we captured the pictures we wanted and shopped for gifts. It was close to 70° and sunny. Just a beautiful day!
Back at the hotel we napped and then walked around. We stopped for supper at a traditional Cantonese restaurant. Yeah not no great. Lai Lai loved the fried rice mixed with some sort of butter egg sauce. Daddy want a fan, neither was jeremiah.
After that we went to a market similar to Walmart. Many floors and underground. Candy by the bulk and yucky died squid. We enjoyed seeing all they have to offer but we were ready to get our of that cramped space, too many people.
Jeremiah's High: buying a souvenir. The hand weights
Jeremiah's Low: the walking
Daddy's High: fun shopping and seeing the history
Daddy's Low: not being able to find any good food
Mommy's High: shopping at the islands
Mommy's Low: the food we ate was icky. I am ready for a good ole true American meal
Enjoy the pictures.
